Bosko formed in September of '03 when singer/guitarist/songwriter Dave Newton, drummer/percussionist Ryan Kirkpatrick and bassist Greg Smitha came together with similar musical ideas and goals. Dave Brewster joined as lead guitarist in January of '06. Jason Barclay joined the band as drummer/percussionist in the spring of '08.
The band released it's first album, "Ladies and Gentlemen", in June 2007 under the gator9 Music banner.
