Musically, I am currently working on a project recording music previously performed by Chet Baker, Billie Holiday, and Nat King Cole, as well as original music written by myself and Federico D' Antoni, inspired by their music.**************Currently in production are the songs "Don't Explain" written by Billy Holiday, and "Let's Not Discuss It" written by myself and Federico D' Antoni. Both will be released in the Fall of this year (2009).Currently in pre-production are the music videos for the two songs, which will be directed by Tadeo Garcia.***********Growing up in Chicago with a love of music as well as a fan of movies, two films had a profound effect on me; the documentary film "Let's Get Lost" directed by Bruce Weber featuring the life of Chet Baker, and "Lady Sings The Blues" directed by Sidney J. Furie, about the life of Billie Holiday starring Diana Ross.**************Also in the planning, is a live show which will incorporate the music of and inspired by these three artists. Their challenges as unconventional music artists of their time, to the adored and respected legends they are today, will be covered through their music. In this show I will sing songs performed by them, during their life time, as well as original music inspired by them and how the music relates to my life.Peace!
