I just moved to Shreveport after graduating with an MD (finally!) Im in my 2nd year of Family Medicine Residency at LSU Health Sciences Center. I love what I do. It's very rewarding! In addition - I just got married in March to the most awesome person in the world and I feel incredibly blessed that I get to share my life with him. ************
******************************************************I did my first 2 years of basic sciences in the Caribbean which was a lot of fun. Lots of beach time, scuba diving, island-hopping, and oh yeah, studying!!!! Then I went to Colorado for 2 years - incredible!! What a beautiful state. I loved it all - the mountains, hiking, biking, fishing, rafting, yoga. It's such a positive atmosphere and the natural beauty of the state really centered me and helped remind me what's important in life.
My sister and brother-in-law really know how to make 'em. I have a beautiful niece. She's so much fun!!! *******************
All in all, I love life. I love people which is probably why I enjoy my job so much. I do miss all my old friends. We had a lot of fun together. . . and I hope to stay in touch with everyone as often as possible. Friends are indeed what makes the world worth living!!****************************************************

Ran my first 10k roadrace on Memorial Day, the Bolder Boulder. There were over 50,000 runners. Wild, huh!? It was a LOT of fun! *******************These awesome pictures were taken by Adnan (excellent photographer). Now you know who to call if you ever need pics! He has a "je ne sais quoi" with the camera! The first picture is my niece in Adeel (her dad's) hand!
