Mysticity

The upcoming Mysticity project-- The Ambassadors of the Hidden Sun-- has finally approached its final destination. Most of the materials are fresh, there are some old favorites of mine from the old days in Tessilck. No matter what, when, and with whom, Tessilck was the one and will stay until the end--at least for me. Originally the idea was to revive Tessilck, it did not happen because of technical difficulties. I had to begin my quest on finding a decent singer. Several frontmen of major bands gave their nods. I am glad I did not rush my decision --his majesty "chance" brought me to one of the most talented musicians on the Rock scene --Doogie White. A true professional and a great person, Doogie White (Blackmore's Rainbow, Malmsteen's Rising Force, Cornerstone,Empire, and other classic/progressive/metal bands) has done an unbelievable job on the vocals. There are no words to describe how Doogie made the songs breathe. Then I had a fabulous chance to meet with "the Caligula of the keyboards"--Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater, Planet X). He is featured in the album as well. Jivan Gasparian Jr. added a majestic touch to the only instrumental track. Bobby Rondinelli (Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Quiet Riot) did a great job by playing on the master track- The Ambassadors of the Hidden Sun. I hope you will find a distinct style in Mysticity's approach, in reality this project is an extension of Tessilck. My friend John Montgomery is on the drums. He was able to incorporate some funk in melodick rock --a difficult task to achieve. I would like to thank Doogie White, J. Montgomery, Derek Sherinian, Bobby Rondinelli, J. Gasparyan Jr., and my talented friend Karen (sound/mixing) for their uncompromising approach and devotion to this project/album. God knows, you guys did a lot more than just contributing your extraordinary talent to this long overdue project. Without Doogie this one would never see the light of the day . . . Special thanks to Tessilck's ex members for not letting it go. I brought the dream to this stage, I don't know where it goes from here -- and maybe that's the fun part! Ambiguous, yet it is fun. . .
