is not just a person or an artistic identity per se, although DrXparaMental is synonymous with both my personal philosophy, and my Xpressed output as a a musician, collaborator & documenter. More exactly, DrXparaMental forwards a commitment that constitutes my base personal philosophy, as well as my musicianship in presentation and pursuit. It's an ongoing musical event constructed within the "hear & now". The bounty of which has yielded both random spontaneous musical journeys, as well as composed musical documents amassed over a considerable period of time. These recordings consist of many musical improv projects, both by myself in studio and live, as well as numerous meetings with other musicians traveling different, yet intersecting paths. It all fatefully started with an ad that I placed in a local entertainment news paper. In the ad it was written that "DrXparaMental, the Mad Bass Scientist is hoping to meet with other like minded musicians etc., etc. It was my hope to meet with other musicians and form some semblance of an actual "group" or project. I had no specific design in mind for such a group when I placed the ad and as it turned out, the idea was much too large to accommodate any such finite limitations. Several years & many musical derangements later, the idea presses onward and upward wherever & however it will. Constantly growing and adapting to as of yet personally unexplored musical territory.************************************* *************************************DrXparaMental is always EVOLVING! ************************************* About The Music: DrXparaMental is all about no musical style or technologically specific boundaries with respect to the creative process. One day you might find a field recording of exotic deep woods drumming, and the next, an intricately detailed progressive composition. Expect the unexpected. You will find MANY musical constructive approaches with respect to creative technique and result. You will also find that if you return to the DrXparaMental MySpace page, the music is changed out often. As a personal note, represent of myself as a musician, DrXpM is not about just me. Certainly I do very much delight in being responsible for every musical resemblance to a note heard via the DrXparaMental documentation process. That's just because I was there to experience and record it all as it was being created.What it's really all about is the unique interaction of those that have graciously taken the time and creative energy to participate. Where by each of us exploring the depths of our soulz and imaginations combined, all of us have become a dimensional part greater with respect to the DrXparaMental creative consciousness. There are no download limitations pertaining to copyright infringements or usage agreements whatsoever. Some of this stuff would make killer sampling for movie soundtracks.
