About Me

Formed in late 2002 as an experimental jam group. GASKET's original line-up didn't last long... A three song demo was recorded before the group split...Yet the story doesn't end there... The Concept of GASKET was that of the ENGINEER, who refused to let the IDEA die... With that in mind, 2003 saw the release of "Live from the Casket" on the South Texas indie label FTM RECORDS... The song "Blood of Life" found it's way to the air waves in South Bend, INDIANA & started receiving Heavy Play on 103.9FM The Bear... Then, after a year Hyatis, GASKET reemerged with it's 2nd "epiphany"..."GEARED TOWARDS THE MACHINE" in 2005 on Fuck The Main$tream Records... Recently, Gasket made it back on to the radio [91.1FM The One in Kingsville, Tx] with the song "fATE" from "Geared Towards the Machine"..A NEW ALBUM currently being referred to as "Fear for Fuel" is in the works for 2008! The machines heart beats a syncopated rhythm...As for what lies ahead for GASKET only time can tell...
