Peace, My name is DJ Flash Gee, in the past I've gone by the names of Gnoc, Zayhid & G-Atom. I move as the currents do, very swift & changeable! Flash Gee is combination of the three personalities mention above in one person. My love for music has allows my personalities to co-exist with one another. The love that I express for Hip-Hop is no different than the Love the rest of us possess except for the fact that I still go to underground shows, college parties, open-mic's & bomb bathroom walls. The rise of Chicago Hip-Hop & my involement started in the earlies 90's watching Twilite Tone(DemDare) & DJ Fonz(Euphonic's) killing the turntables at Raquetball club, Hype Park, Belmont Area & Mendal High-School. The Point(Hyde Park), Navy Pier, Elbow Room, The Spot& Belmont area parties where you can witness Hip-Hop in the streets, with MCs such as Twista( back in his Pro Black era days), Juice & Akbar@Bop Shop(Rippin sucka MCs), EC Illa, Rubber Room, Bip Lips(Duro), O-Type Star & Ang 13 spitting lyrics on the dirty Chicago streets. Riding the trains looking for the newest pieces on the wall by Uac, X-men, Digs, Tms, Cab, J4F & CBS. Being that am from the north side but went to high school & lived out South gave me the best of both worlds. I was able to mesh the south-side hustler mentality & black culture awareness with northside business savyness into one. As I changed, Hip-hop changed as well.. my love for being MC was being tested & tampered with everytime I saw fonz on tha 1's & 2's. The dream that my crew(Sumo) shared of being signed artists became nightmare when we all went our seperate ways(I suck as solo artist!). Fonz and I started hanging out more(smoking weed) and my passion for spinning records grew as well. After countless hours of bedroom time & Seel Fresh party I was introduced to world as DJ Flash Gee.
