"Great songs. To quote a phrase from a Heineken advert 'What a refreshing change"- Elliot Hall
I was born in Alabama.. My Dad's from Arkansas and my Mom was German.. i've lived in Europe and the States and by a series of coincidences and strange twists of fate i now reside in the Southwest of England.. Bristol to be exact. After a brief but failed attempt by my sister to teach me the guitar at the age of five.. i picked it up again a few years ago.. singing, and playing and leg-trembling my way through songs at various open mic nights and with the encouragement of fellow musicians started going out and gigging. I've played with a lot of good folks and at a lot of good places since then..
A couple of years ago i met Martin Froud (aka The Reverend) at Priddy Folk Festival and then again at Didmarton Bluegrass Festival, where he asked me if i'd be interested in fronting a band and a few months ago it finally came together.. Joined by Glen Martin on percussion and Pete Hughes of Marula on Double Bass we are now Honey On My Grave..
