We believe that these songs are particularly applicable to todays lifestyle. Most folks today are very rushed and hurried trying to finish all they set out to do. Band Members: Simple Faith Band is composed of nine members of diverse musical backgrounds. Mike Gasper is the main singer/songwriter. Mike also plays guitar and keyboards. Chris Jahntz is the lead guitarist. Chris has played with members of The Allman Brothers Band, Shari Scott of Earth, Wind and Fire, and Sugar Blue, of Rolling Stones renown. Bobby Scumaci, Mark Ott, and Wally Hustin on keys, drums, and bass respectively have all toured and recorded with The Dave Mason Band. Bobby Scumaci has also played with Edgar Winter, Spencer Davis, and Fleetwood Mac to name a few. Mark Ott hasalso played with Three Dog Night. Wally Hustin has worked with Kenny Arnoff and David Ben Wha. David Gasper is a percussionist and drummer who ably supports the rythm section. Carrie Kisser, Ruth Pavona (Uthay), and Erica Iozzo (Rica) are the back-up singers and occaionally venture into lead singing. This ensemble always has a good time, on stage and off. Influences: They are many and varied...... Jackson Browne, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, John Coltrane, Frank Zappa, The Eagles, The Beatles, Barney Kessel, Steven Curtis Chapman, Bonnie Raitt....to name a few.... but the biggest influence is JESUS!!!!
