About Me
My name is Carl Edwards Joiner III, but you either know me as Trey or the even more popular name. ICETREY! I am currently a student at Georgia Southern University, but will be transfering to UGA in a couple of years to enroll in their new music industry program. I love music more than anything.....except my family and frineds! I have been involved with music for as long as i can remember. I started playing the saxophone when I was in the 6th grade and continued to this point. I was Drum Major of my high school band my senior year and thats when everything started going for me. I began writing hip-hop and rap music for the band to play in the stands at the Football games. I wrote anything from T.I. to Young Jeezy to Crime Mob to Underground street hits! Believe me when I said i had the stands crunk! It is truely something that I miss! Anyway, from that I began to seriously make beats. I first started making beats my sophomore year of high school, but it was mainly for fun. After realizing that I had some talent, I began doin it more seriously! I started producing for various artists around COBB COUNTY. I worked with various labels as well! I would mention names, but unfortunately, I am not able to for legal reasons. SO DON'T ASK, unless you are someone close to me! Anyway, now I am workin on a couple of projects, but not workin with any specific labels at the moment, but do I head the Music department of Grynd Harder Ent. I have taken a break from producing and have started to handle the business of it all now. I hope to either start my own record label, or work for ANOTHER successful one!
***One thing that I have realized is the importance of time management and priorities! Music is a huge part of my life, but it is not the only part. I forget this sometimes and it affects those around me. Unfortunately, I believe I have lost certain friends because I didnt make time for them anymore....that time was given to music. But I realized that music will always be here for me. I'm in college, and I need to have fun and enjoy it while it is here! The people in my top friends below are all important in their own way. From my brother and sister, to my best friends, to my music partners! But enough of all this mushy shit***I have also played soccer for almost 15 years! Most of my best friends have come from this. I played select for the Smyrna Stealth 87' squad for seven years and won one Chevrelet State Championship.But thats basically me... if you have anyquestions, get at me! If you want to do business, get at me! If you want to hear some msuic, get at me! If you want to hate, save your breath!Oh yeah, one last thing:I am from COBB COUNTY!!!
