Currently performing/playing bass guitar and singing with Dusseldorf, Germany based band: The Kris Pohlmann Band (Original Rock/Blues. krispohlmannband.com and www.myspace.com/www.krispohlmannband). Kris Pohlmann Band was just awarded 1st place in the category "Best Blues Band 2006" by the German Pop Foundation. Recorded 8 song CD "Heavy Pain". July 2006: Wrote music for and choreographed 2 scenes for the theater piece "Sigried" at the "Nibelungen" Festival in Worms, Germany. This modified version of the piece was done by 40 youths aged 12-19. (www.nibelungenhorde.de) Previous musical experience includes playing bass guitar on a series of TV appearances with well know German recording artist "Marianne Rosenberg" in the summer of 2004. Played bass guitar and sang for Brooklyn, NY based band: Just Us (1993-1996).5 This band was well established in the NY, CT and NJ area and working 4-6 nights per week. Many other recordings, bands and gigs before this era with many local bands in my home town of Charlottesville, VA. The Dave Matthews Band are very good friends of mine.
