I am here for Friends

About Me

What they don’t tell you is that you are important to someone. They, being the omniscient super beings that rule the known universe with an iron fist and a 12 inch metal ruler. I think they’re Nuns, nuns from Amsterdam (The planet) who wear miniskirts and low-cut shirts that reveal just enough cleavage to make Catholicism appealing. Anyways, what they don’t tell you is that someone’s life would not be the same with out yours. Some where in the deep abyss of people encompassing the Earth there is someone who needs you. Even if no one needs you right now, there will come a time, a pivotal moment in your life when someone’s life will depend on yours. Not everyone will have the opportunity to be famous; not everyone will be the fist person to step foot on the moon; not everyone will invent the Momma Joke. Maybe you’ll never change the world on a grand scale, but you can change a life. You have the power of kindness and of friendship and of goodness and of laughter, the mightiest of all the super powers. Be someone’s friend; be someone’s hero; be someone’s savior. Human companionship will be the closest you get to the audible voice of God on this earth. Don’t let the Nuns hit you with their rulers. Don’t let them stun you into believing that you don’t make a difference. Next time Sister Kelptor swings at you with her fast as light pitching arm (no, really—she used to play in galactic slerm-ball league), catch her ruler in midair, take it from her, smack her across one of her faces with it, and ask her… HOW DO YOU LIKE IT?! Make an effort to be important to someone because it’s the most important thing you’ll ever do.
