About Me

Hello. My name is Jon Carlisle.I'm just an old-fashioned Southern boy living a dream of a life. I thank God for everything I have, and work hard to accomplish every challenging goal I have set for myself. The last two sentences are as sappy and serious as you will EVER hear me. I'm always happy to meet new people and let them into my crazy world.Can you believe I've lived in Orlando, Florida since May of '07? It's wild! I definitely miss Arkansas but am adjusting well to my new surroundings. I've found a great girl and good friends, not to mention all I've found to see and do here. I've become a Disney fan, and I'm trying to become a golfer! (When in Rome...!)I don't log into Myspace a ton, but I'm always reachable. Send me a message, I'll give you my e-mail, and I'd be glad to keep in touch. Also, each and every one of you has a bed waiting for a Florida visit. Just book a flight, and come on down! My Interests

My main interest is definitely the Sports World. My ups and downs are usually somehow connected to the performance of the Atkansas Razorbacks. Growing up, I always wanted to see the games live, but rarely had the chance. Now, I'm careful not to take those trips for granted, even keeping up with my record (39-18) as a fan in the stands. My second favorite team has become the Knights of UCF (3-1) and I've even bought season tickets for the '08 campaign. Football's the cake, and the rest is just icing. I also keep up with plenty of basketball, baseball, hockey, and even golf now!

Music:

You know those people that say "I listen to everything"? I challenge them to really mean it. My interests range from "High School Musical" and Hannah Montana, to Johnny Cash and Garth Brooks to Shinedown and Buckcherry to MercyMe and Chris Tomlin to Flo Rida and Jay-Z.

Movies:

If the question starts with "Have you seen..." the answer is likely no. I will sit through the occasional silly comedy, or animated feature like "Finding Nemo" or "Horton Hears a Who" (GREAT, by the way!)

Television:

God's Gifts to mankind: 1. The Office 2. The Hills 3. The Office on DVD I like a few others too, but these are my two can't-misses.

Books:

Last great one was called "Faking It: How to seem like a better person without actually improving yourself."... Oops, maybe shouldn't have told you that!!

Heroes:

I think by rule I'm supposed to hate the whole "NewsBusters" movement, but i LOVE the OJ guy!!!
