I am on the cusp of entering my 30's, which is a surreal thing to contemplate. I am a mother to a cool little kid named Davey, who has the looks of my brother and the temperament of his father, which makes him a very lucky boy, indeed. I am attempting to break into the world of freelance children's photography, but for some reason, people keep trying to hire me for weddings.My sister just had a baby, a beautiful little girl called Emmy, so I am an aunt for the first time. My other sister just got a haircut and looks so grown-up, and that makes me feel even older than turning 28.I'm laid back, not lazy. This is what I tell myself in order to ignore laundry that needs to be folded or floors that need to be swept. Not that my house is messy, mind you. I prefer "lived in."I wanted to write more but my monkey child is currently attempting to climb over the rocker.
