Horslypse

About Me

Horslypse are a seven piece Horslips tribute band, formed in early 2005. Having played in Galway, Drogheda, Letterkenny, Belfast, Irvinestown, Strabane, and also many times in their hometown of Omagh they have great experience under their belt. The lads had the privilege of performing on stage alongside three of the original Horslips members, during the summer of 2007. Although all members are now at university (Belfast, Dublin, Manchester, Leeds, Coventry, Birmingham and Leicester), with over half of them studying a music related course, they still get together and gig whenever they can."We saw them play in Drogheda at the opening of the Horslips Exhibition. They were amazing" - Jim Lockhart, Horslips“Those boys are rockin’!” - Johnny Fean, Horslips“That’s the first Horslips gig I’ve ever been to, and it was absolutely fantastic. I didn’t know that our songs could be played that way!” - Barry Devlin, Horslips“Horslypse are reviving something that Ireland has been missing for close to 30 years now. Catch them if you can.” - Philip Chevron, The Pogues
