I am just your average guy looking to see what is out there. Meeting people is always great....you can never have to many aquaintances and maybe even a few good friends can come out of it. If I am lucky a special guy, but who knows. I am a college bound student that is taking a short break while accumulating funds for the fall semester. My passion lies in teaching, but I have also had my eyes on social work. I believe I would be happy in either, but we shall see what happens. Many changes have happened over the last several months and many more are going to occur. I am just sitting back and trying to figure out where life is leading me.Tonight, I read a wonderful personal message and became inspired to share more thoughts and views with myself as well as some people who might come across this page. Life, hard work, stress, and problems are thrown at each of us when we are very young. We have the choice whether to be beaten down and run over or optimistic and fight the obstacles head on. I, however, choose the latter of the two. I am a very optimistic person that loves helping other people out, but they have to be willing to help themselves first. I move along through life with no regrets. I have always believed that everything happens for a reason. There is a lesson behind every choice and a reaction for every action.Life is like water. Sometimes it can be smooth as glass, other times a ripple can occur creating other currents. Stones or conflict can disturb the water only if you let them cast the stone. The waves are problems and we are all striving to create balance. A balance of life. I believe a person has to be happy with themselves and their lives before the balance of two people can take place or the water is disturbed before two people even enter the pool. My inspiration came from passion. I had to think, What is my passion? I have wanted to be a teacher a social worker and am already a gay rights activist. I enjoy helping people. That is my passion. In other words, I have a passion for love. As I mentioned before, life has its problems, but we as a race are driven by love. I am looking for someone that knows what they want out of life. Someone who is up to challenges and has goals as well as inspirations. I want someone whom I can share love with.I am not sure what to expect. Now that I think about it, I am remembering Forest Gump and the life is like a box of chocolates....you never know what you are going to get. Thats how I feel when I talk to people. I want someone sincere that has confidence. You can take the most beautiful person on the Earth and they will have something that they are insecure about. None of us are alone in that arena, but we can have confidence. To conclude this brief personal invasion into my mind, I would like to mention that I enjoy talking to people. Friends are always a pleasure to have around and bounce ideas and memories back and forth.The KeyDiving into a maelstrom of cloudsand darkness,Surrounded by many emotions,Finding and telling who I am and what I'm worth,I'm faced with a major decision,But Iknow the people cry and die,And here I am,all aloneALONE and in pain,Lost and Forgotten in my baracaded MindThe lock will not give in,I am lost,But there is a little ray of hope,The dayfinally comes,A special Day,to talk and express,my thoughts and secrets hidden deep within,that releases the darkenss,But I am all alone,I am fearful, but I have to try,I will not try, I do,My voice is loud and strong,The light shines through,My cage deteriorates,I now feel happy and proud,For I am: me, my soul,and ISince this time, I have never regretted anything in my life until recently. As I mentioned before, there have been many obstacles in my life the last few months and I am afraid I am fighting a losing battle. The one and only hero in my life passed away in December leaving me alone. I am now the only person left standing that can control my destiny and fix the mistakes that I make. Losing my family has been very hard, but I have learned a lot about life and many different situations. I have learned to live each day to the fullest and take nothing for granted, but I still find myself down and lonely. I regret not spending more time with my grandma. I truly miss her and the great times we had together.

My friends, family, and those who surround my life inspire me to stretch for the goals that I have set in my way. I would be lost without them. So, when someone asks me about me, they are also asking about my friends. At least that is my way of looking at matters.I would consider myself a friendly person who loves to talk and listen.
