About Me

4 the sake of this experiment, call me J. Short for Jon. You can call me Jon if you lyke, i dont care. I actually prefer it most times, unless there's a lot of Jons around. Same J in Jaiden. Same J associated (producer) with the Zephaniah Chesterfield Project. I dont do well with keeping up with people but i'll check in on you from time to time... you do the same.
PERSONAL BACKGROUND: born in 79, been livin since. Popz is a preacher (C.O.G.I.C.) and graphic design Marcell Duchamp of sorts, momz is a deacon (Baptist) and teacher. Got 1 brother and 2 sisters, few neices and a nephew.
I started out in rap, bangin the beats out on the radiators over grandma's and freestyling, moved onto writing shorts, dipped into the poetry, dabbled in screenplays and movies and made my own comics, shot over to the rap 1mo'gin', even got into the rock, metal, jazz and so on. I dont even think that means much of anything. I've been exposed to a lot, but not as much as others. My mix cd's will have Glen Miller, CeCe Winans, Tupac, The Crystal Method, Ben Harper and Cross Movement with the Beasties, Flyleaf, Hendrix, Fred Hammond, The Isleys, Muddy Waters, Charlie Christian, The DMB and Gorillaz. DangerMouse and Beethoven do the same thing to me. That means nothing. I've played nice and been ruthless, played the lover and the opposite, been good and bad. I can pull rank as easy as pulling numbers or a fast one. IT MEANS ZERO. The world, basically, is getting on my nerves. What should mean something, the only thing that counts is the heart and life of the individual. Not their intentions, not their plans, not who they claim to be affiliated with, not their lineage, not their belief structure, not who they used to be... who are they now, and what are they doing? I guarantee you, you can have all the best intentions and friends in the world but get shot in the face tonight as a shitty individual and you'll die a shitty individual, and thats that. What's up with you right now? That will show who you are dealing with. There are sinners who know they should be doing something else, just as there are christians who are really faking it.
Right now, i'm just J. Trying to find some peace and quiet, but there's a fight to have first. I do not always say or do the right thing, i get lost in trying to help people, i don really take care of myself as i feel that you are more important. I have a short fuse sometimes and my feelings are hurt easily, however i was brainwashed to believe that even having feelings and emotions are a sign of weakness, and weaknesses are not to be shown. Makes me real hard to love and very quiet and reserved most times. God is working things out in me, and i'm working to get to the bottom of me too. Its hard. I dont even lyke music that much anymore. Its a burden, yet, i can't get away from it. Beats get in my head, i have to get them out. I see things that bother me, and for some reason, people won't listen to common sense unless you link it to the roc, which i understand is named after a luciferian who died of AIDS? Is that correct? Glad he moved over to Def Jam. that was sarcasm. This music thing has gotten too stupid and dirty, and i really would not lyke to be wrapped up in it because its not important really. We've been tricked into thinking people are stars. Everyone can make music. However, we're chasing placebos (fake medication, not cures) for our problems. Music is the number one drug of choice. You smoke to music. You drink to music. You have sex to music. Afterwards, you put on music. Go to church, and you wanna hear a song. Drink all you want, but the club aint jumpin till... You probablly have music on now. Wait a sec... you mean, that if people are tired (lyke they always bitch and moan about) of seeing all of this decadance in "the streets" they'll still do nothing more than make a song about it, get paid, and still feel the same way? I guess the cure's not in the music, not in the money, but in the people. God gave us all that power and connection to each other to keep us alive. Can we turn the music off now? I have problems, and i'm tired. I want that peace and quiet. Do you?
I hate money and its hold on freedom(s), and how its pimping. I love individuals. People as a group are sheep and mislead each other, but you cannot leave them to their devices, as they will be influenced to destroy one another. People (the times, places, and other individuals, not all of which are human) influence individuals. Individuals change people, places, the times....
.as far as this page is concerned: just dig the music i guess. for some reason i (think, feel, see...) that the message is still more important than the messenger. Tru that the messages, words, names even, have power. People get caught up in that tho. Then they think that they are more important because they are being used to spread a message, start a movement, or whatever. Well... the bigger (and higher) you are, the harder you fall. Everyone has a tongue and a life. That alone brings a message. There is a song in all of us. Whoever you paid $20.oo for their cd to hear them talk with music playing, or talk using notes (singing) should also pay you for talking to kids on the street or people on a bus you just happen to share a good word with, cause its the same thing, only this... your good word is more valuable... the logic: as the cd was made to get someone rich, your word was shared to make someone better. I'm tryna be about that as best as i can, using what i know how to do. Sadly its music.
As far as the music goes.. i love music. Music is a beautiful thing. The way sounds come together and the way it allows you to express things is sweet, but a double edged sword. Just as one could express joy and spread messages of life and peace, one could take the same meduim (english is a neat language) and flip it... most times you wont even get past the beat (music) to see what the lyrics are. That is a dangerous thing, and should be respected by musicians, teachers, religious leaders and so on... (basically anyone raised up to be over or in front of people).
I hate the music industry. Its a part of the whole re-ordering generations: get them programmed, keep them in poverty, remove the outlets as to drive them to it more (it being the means of feeling human and loved and respected, as well as the ways to train the future; the ways to raise them throgh images, means of expression to feel self worth and connected to others "we" will control therefore controling them, them being you and I). Its a means of control. I hate it. The music industry has an agenda it will not tell you, rather it will sell you if you allow yourself to be pimped. Why else are there so many people with the same problems seeking to be heard and putting out all of this music to stir people up, but not fix the problems? It just makes you tired of the same old artists and songs and move on to the new artists and songs which are exactly the same as the ones you just got tired of. Same messages, same lyrics, same notes, same instruments, different faces, clothes, and slang. Its just a cycle getting people paid to go nowhere.

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: me and whatever's within range
Influences: infuence (IN-floo-ens) n. -.... effect of one person or thing on another; power of person or thing having an effect; thing, person exercising this.

Real World [day2day influences]: poverty. i hate poverty. decadance. i detest the term "nigga", the more you use it the less intelligent i will think you are. Ghetto, that's where nazi lackies, brainwashed by someone who didnt even fit the mold he glorified, kept prisoners they were going to execute, and before slaughter of that race they tortured and experiemented on them. If you live in the ghetto... think about that. Underdogs, that's my people. I believe in the family structure. I believe in the block as well. I think that everything is there to produce a fully self-sufficient and capable, productive member of society is found in the family, and if not the family then the block [extended family]. Education, nurturing, testing, room for growth and development physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually... its all there. We abuse and neglect that. I coud go on and on about the effects of our bitching out of our respinsobilities for the sake of passing thrills and fear of what will, after careful examination, be reduced to nothing, but not now. But yes, family is important, as well as your block. Yes, still. Various other things, none of them are being cool, fitting in, popularity, conformity, money, and fame. i live in reality. who has time to care about those things in reality?
