About Me

I am a free spirit, confined by work, life and responsibilities. I laugh loud, smile big and cry alone. I feel at peace when I am on the beach, with my dogs or in my garden. I live every day like it could be my last. I want to be loved, but I want to love more. I walk with the mortals and fly with the spirits.I have become more and more...disillusioned by the world we live in today. In my eyes, our world is in crisis. From natural disasters (made worse by man's constant and ongoing abuse and torture of our planet) to genocide in Darfur...our world is hurting. The citizens (and animals) of this world are hurting. When I was a little girl, I was fortunate to grow up in Puerto Rico, where my grandmother and grandfather taught me how to love, respect and protect the Earth. They taught me respect, compassion and empathy. These lessons have stayed with me through the years, and as our global situation worsens, I find myself feeling more and more passionate about making a difference, no matter how little. The picture below says "Where will the children play?" Its part of the lyrics of a great song by Mana, a Mexican rock group. The song speaks of early days spent running in the mountains, swimming in the rivers and discovering nature. It also speaks of the current global crisis, and asks the question...Where will our children play?
Its my hope and dream that SOMEDAY...we can all work together as the HUMAN RACE, to come together regardless of religion, politics or race. As John Lennon said "You may call me a dreamer, but I am not the only one." To dream is to soar...so whatever those dreams are...embrace them. Work for them. Every little bit helps...and only WE can turn back this ticking time bomb we call "life".
There is also another side of me...Her name is Anastasia Beaverhausen. You may have heard of her...also known as "Karen" on Will and Grace. Yep, Karen is pretty much who I would want to be if I didn't have a heart or a conscious. Scratch that. Karen is cool, funny, sexy, rich and totally selfish. I can dig that. She is the bad, darker side of me, the one who loves to be a snob, to verbally abuse people and be under the influence of something at all times. So here, for your amusement, are some gems by Karen Walker aka Anastasia Beaverhausen.
Name: Karen Walker Aliases: Anastasia Beaverhausen; Pilar Palabundo; Kiki Wheels: Limo Occupation: Assistant to Grace Adler; full-time trophy wife Interests: Shopping, belittling Will, pill poppingKaren Walker is a wealthy socialite who is inexplicably employed as an assistant to interior designer Grace Adler. She enjoys spending time with her gay pal Jack, questioning Grace's ability to dress herself, and combining prescription medications with booze (she once asked her housekeeper Rosario to make her a "gin on the rocks, with the rocks made out of pills"). After years of marriage to the very wealthy (and very obese) Stan Walker, Karen had become accustomed to being super-rich and barking orders at her extensive staff. However, after a roller-coaster ride of faked death, whirlwind romance, and hot-and-heavy affairs, they chose to divorce. Karen was shocked to find out her husband was actually broke. Fortunately, Jack inherited vast amounts of money from his tiny gay lover and Karen was once again pampered, but this time by her gay sugar daddy.
"Honey, I know it’s scary. Hey, when I started working in the corporate world of Grace Adler designs I was terrified. Would she like me? Would I be good at my job? And now look at me, honey, I’m one of the richest women in the world. Yes there’s no connection but if you pause in the right places and emphasize the right words it sounds very inspiring."
Honey, what is going on? finger-prints on the china, spots on the silver, the vodka is warm. What is this? Junior high?
(to her vodka) Thanks for coming!
Honey, it must be a relief to finally have someone else kill your party.
Are you jumping? Or am I under medicated?
Honey, I could suck the alcohol out of a deodorant stick.
What can I do? How can I help? What are we drinking?
That’s like saying Prada’s are just shoes or vodka is just a morning beverage.
