I want to meet people who will teach me, deal with me, and have lots of fun with me. It is a tough deal but SO worth it. :)
I am kinda a sell out when it comes to music, well for a girl who lives in Austin I am. I like mostly alternative/ pop like: Fiona Apple, Scissor Sisters, Cake, Aqualung, Jack Johnson, Ben Harper. I have really started to find more artisits I really like and recently discovered Ane Brun, Rufus Wainright, DJ spooky, Imogen Heap.I like country too, just don't listen to it as often. I also like hip hop, specially when I am out and want to dance: ex Missy Elliot. Rap I can deal with in doses.I have started broaden my music tastes and I am willing to listen to all sorts of stuff cause you dont know when something will suprise ya.
Ok lets just get it over with and start with the normal girly staple movies I like: When Harry Met Sally, Dirty Dancing, Shakespear in Love and on lazy sundays by myself disney movies (the old school ones with songs still in them)... NEXT I really like movies that don't have happy endings for some reason, lately I liked: Spanglish and Closer. Then the random movie category is: Chicago, Dazed and Confused and you know basically those movies that everyone likes... unless you are dumb. I could think of a lot of others but they dont come to mind right now. Just got netflicks and super excited about it... give me movie suggestions
LOST, Project Runway, Heroes, The Daily Show... I dont have a very stable schedule so I dont have certain shows I catch all the time. My favorite stations are food network ( I know I am odd), Bravo, MTV, Oh and We (for the movies) and comedy central...as my news source. So, usually I watch what I catch at the time...
Girl in the Flamable skirt is my favorite. Just read Sight Hound by Pam Houston and that is good to anyone who is looking. I am actually on the hunt for a new really good book because there is nothing better than finding a read that makes you laugh, cry and sad that it is over when you close it in the end.
I know this isn't what this category really means BUT if I were a superhero I would be Storm. You could fly and control the weather... how bad ass would that be.
