GHOSTDROPPINGS.COM, FRIGHTCATALOG.COM, GOBLINVILLE.COM, halloween, wicca and anything to do with the paranormal. i love to read, hang out with friends and go to the movies. i like to camp and enjoy nature, especially thunderstorms, travel, take pictures, be with my family, play with my dogs, browse ebay, go to outdoor concerts, shop, go to barnes and noble, and go to the covered bridge festival in putnam county. after a long day at work, i swing on the front porch, drink something cold and listen to music to relax . being by myself is fun too and browsing flea markets, thrift stores and yard sales is a good idea cause you can sometimes find halloween stuff for cheap. i'm also beginning to study wicca. it's a very interesting religion, and i think it's a religion i could fit into very easily. i just hope i can become the witch i want to be!CURRENT MOON lunar phases
here on myspace, people who are interested in halloween, the paranormal, wicca and horror movies. in real life *wink* i'd like to meet the ghost hunters team, david bowie, george lucas and bertrice small.
i'm interested in all kinds of music. my favorites are queen, kiss, rolling stones, aerosmith, led zeppelin, the doors, alice cooper, pink floyd and david bowie. but i also listen to classical, ac/dc, motley crue, metallica, pearl jam, the eagles, opera, frank sinatra, jazz, 80's hairbands, blues, reggae, disturbed, enigma, elton john, marilyn manson, chevelle, johnny cash, rob zombie, neil diamond, ozzy, medieval babes, korn, eric clapton, coldplay, the cure, u2, fleetwood mac, the bee gees, cher, garbage, midnight syndicate, van halen, santana, vince guaraldi (a charlie brown christmas rocks!) the list goes on and on. it really just depends on my mood! in fact, the only music i can't tolerate is rap, contemporary country, christian, light rock and death metal.
my all time favorite movie is halloween, and my fav comedy is young frankenstein. (would you like to have a roll in the hay?) i'm a big fan of horror movies, classic or modern, scary or cheesy, especially: bram stoker's dracula, the shining with jack nicholson (the remake is just stupid) rosemary's baby, both elvira movies, the original night of the living dead, 1925 version of phantom of the opera, salem's lot, the lost boys, silver bullet, all 3 scream movies, the original amityville horror and the newer remake of it, the howling, and the original war of the worlds. classic monster movies are awesome! i could watch dracula, the wolfman, frankenstein and frankenstein's bride every day and not get tired of them! speaking of dracula, the frank langella version is to die for! pun intended! i love all the star wars movies, (by the way, IV came out the year i was born! can you imagine seeing it in the theater for the first time? how could they wait for the next one without going crazy??) all the harry potter movies, and all of the lord of the rings movies. i'll watch anything with the horror master vincent price! the stepford wives, rocky horror picture show (see it live, it's so fun!) coming to america, tommy boy, trading places, labyrinth, legend, the x-men trilogy and both spiderman movies, underworld one and two, the highlander movies (there can be only one) wedding crashers, all 3 back to the future movies and james bond movies with sean connery and pierce brosnan. charlie and the chocolate factory is a classic. i like the new one too, but not as much. pirates of the caribbean was good, and as long as we're talking johnny depp, the ninth gate, and secret window were very creepy and interesting. i also love chick flicks. my faves are: ever after, practical magic, never been kissed, sleepless in seattle, you've got mail, the wedding planner, legally blonde and where the heart is. and at christmas time, who doesn't love rudolph, frosty, a garfield christmas, a charlie brown christmas, miracle on 34th street and santa claus is coming to town? jerry lewis movies are excellent to watch when you're feeling low. two of my favorites are the ladies man and the nutty professor. i watch disney movies when i'm sick cause they make me feel better. the ones i like best are toy story 1 and 2, cinderella, sleeping beauty, the little mermaid, fox and the hound and the emperor's new groove. and if you've never seen the movie transylvania 6-5000, watch it! that is some seriously funny stuff! ees good, eh?
ghost hunters is my favorite tv show. i never miss an episode! the price is right and south park are probably the only other shows i watch with any regularity. my favorite stations are the travel channel, animal planet, sci-fi, history, national geographic, discovery, boomerang and cartoon network.
i love to read! i always make time for it. trashy, historic romance novels are my favorite. bertrice small is at the top of my list because she writes the most intriguing stories you can imagine! mostly about girls in harems and handsome men conquering them! after her i like catherine coulter, johanna lindsey, julia quinn, jude deveraux and christina dodd. i also have books by lisa kleypas, victoria alexander, elizabeth lowell and amanda quick. funny story how i got started reading trashy romance novels. i was like 12 or 13 and my mom, dad and i were on our way to kentucky to visit my grandma. before they built the AA highway, it used to take 6 hours to get there! i guess i was driving them nuts, so mom reached under her seat and gave me a catherine coulter book called night storm. they didn't hear a peep out of me after that! my mom hadn't read that particular book yet, and if she had, i know she wouldn't have let me read it! i told her i still have that book and she just shakes her head at me! oh well. anyway, i could read lord of the rings, chronicles of narnia and harry potter over and over! those are just really great, well written, interesting books. anything dealing with wicca, halloween, ghost stories or haunted places are easy reads too. i read the occasional anne rice and stephen king. i like poetry, and edgar allan poe is my favorite. classics like sense and sensibility, pride and predjudice and little women even made it into the mix! i've just discovered kim harrison's books. they're really great! the main character is a bounty hunter who brings in vampires, witches and weres. can't wait for the next book!
Vincent Price, Morticia Adams, Lilly Munster, Elvira, the great pumpkin and Sammy Terry!
