Feel the magick... Let it fill your heart!

About Me

Always the hardest part, describing myself... Here's to new beginnings! I am single again, after many years, and trying to re-learn how to live life on my own. I am here to meet people, make new friends, connect with old friends, see what's out there in this great big world of ours. I am Pagan, with leanings toward the Celtic/Druidic path, and constantly learning new things every day. "An it harm none, do as thou will..." words to live by. I take each day as it comes - no promises, no expectations, and make the best of it. I work hard, and sometimes, I even get to come out and play... would you like to join me?

My Interests

Learning and discovering new things. Spending time with those I love. Working with my hands, creating things, being artistic. SciFi conventions, reading, writing, costuming, camping, travel... these are just a few things that make me tick. Guess you'll have to ask about the rest, won't you?

I'd like to meet:

Leonardo Da Vinci... what a fantastic mind this man had! Isaac Asimov and Poul Anderson... 2 of the worlds best SciFi authors, ever.

Music:

I have an eclectic taste in music... classic rock from the 70's, 80's and 90's (Rod stewart, Aerosmith, Jethro Tull, Heart, Stevie Nicks, The Doors, The Stones, Leonard Skynard)... some classical and jazz, country (Lonestar, George Strait, Trace Atkins, Toby Keith, Blackhawk, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill), Filk (this will need an explaination, I think), and a few others I'll leave for another time.

Movies:

Romantic comedies and Disney movies, always! SciFi, fantasy, sword and sorcery, some action and adventure, a few (mild) thrillers, no scary bloody-slasher-horror stuff.

Television:

All CSI's, Law and Order's, House, Grey's Anatomy, Without a Trace, Sex and the City, Six Feet Under, West Wing... Cartoons, of course! You can never go wrong with Scooby Do, lol! Not into any of the so-called reality shows...

Books:

Mostly SciFi and Fantasy... All things Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings... A good mystery... Crafts, How-To books and mags... anything that will keep my interest piqued and teach me new things.

Heroes:

Heather Alexander, Marian Zimmer Bradley, Dr. "J" Robinson and Cindy McQuillan. Some of my most favorite people, ever.
