About Me

Mark5 was formed in the fall of 2005 by Mark Caldeira, a guitarist and composer from Brooklyn, NY (originally from Taunton, Massachusetts).
Mark can be reached at 917-771-8212

Mark wanted to put a band together that used hard jazz improvisation to explore and expand the rock/pop format, so he assembled some innovative and creative players in the NYC area and presto, Mark5 was born.

Mark5 is currently unsigned. They are working on a studio recording to capture their "live" feel. There will be minimal production and overdubbing. What they play is what you hear. Listen at your own risk!
