About Me

Doug Davis spent a lot of time in North Carolina and New York City playing in quirky power-pop bands you've never heard of before becoming a full-time producer, recording artists and bands that you've never heard of but will someday soon.In late 2005, after a long period of inactivity, he realized that it was time to make some music again, as a solo artist for the first time. He set out to write a bunch of songs that demonstrated a much more rootsy and soulful sound than he'd ever tapped into before. He then put together a crack band of some of his favorite people to realize them.
