About Me

"Beauty in art is truth bathed in an impression received from nature." (Jean Baptiste Camille Corot) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "...for is there anything more absurd than to wish to carry continually a burden which one can always throw down." - (Voltaire)- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "If my words did glow with the gold of sunshine, And my tunes were played on the harp unstrung, Would you hear my voice come thru the music, Would you hold it near as it were your own?" - (Robert Hunter) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -"...Indecision brings its own delays, And days are lost lamenting over lost days. Are you in earnest? Seize this very minute; What you can do, or dream you can do, begin it; Boldness has genius, power and magic in it." - (John Anster from a "very free translation" of Goethe's "Faust") - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -------- - - - -Hello and welcome to the Project JL page! Thanks for visiting. This is a venue for showcasing the various projects I have been lucky enough to be involved with. What a long strange trip it's been....From "The Band with No Future" & "Citrus Jam" to "Project JL with Rod Jackson", it's been my privelege to have the opportunies to work with such talented and great people. - - - - Please be sure to check out my newest project, "Dream Away Overture", a collaboration with the amazing singer and truly one of a kind artist, Rod Jackson, from Slash's Snakepit. "Dream Away Overture" is like the Old Time Radio Hour, complete with sound effects, story line and a rock'n'roll sound track. Please tune in for a unique listening experience - - - -Thanks to all whom I've worked with, and all who have made the music possible.
