You Belong in Amsterdam
A little old fashioned, a little modern - you're the best of both worlds. And so is Amsterdam.
Whether you want to be a squatter graffiti artist or a great novelist, Amsterdam has all that you want in Europe (in one small city).
What European City Do You Belong In?
Your Candy Heart Says "First Kiss"
You're a true romantic who brings an innocent hope to each new relationship.
You see the good in every person you date, and you relish each step of falling in love.
Your ideal Valentine's Day date: a romantic dinner your sweetie cooks for you
Your flirting style: friendly and sweet
What turns you off: cynics who don't believe in romance
Why you're hot: you always keep the romance alive
What Does Your Candy Heart Say?Well, I like anything outdoors and sporty! Traveling, reading, learning, learning, learning.
Jake Gyllenhaal, Matt Damon, Denzel Washington, Tyrese (just to name a few of the hottest guys on the planet), but if I can't meet them, then I'd definitely like to meet people who are interesting ... and everyone is, but few people are genuinely real and those are the kinds of people I would like to meet. I like hearing people's life stories, you learn so much from others. Pen pals are something truly wonderful ... definitely looking to build solid friendships.
most anything but country ..... Favorites: Linkin Park, Blink 182, Enya, My Chemical Romance, Panic at the Dico! Katie Melua, All American Rejects, Bob Dylan, Beatles, Rachmaninov, Green Day, Beethoven, Cake, Eminem, Beach Boys, Coldplay, and hoards of others.
Jarhead, Memento, Donnie Darko, Full Metal Jacket, 8 Mile, Crash, Shawshank Redemption, Saving Private Ryan, Proof, Schindler's List, The Pianist, Pearl Harbor (the cinematography is excellent -- story is another issue), Band of Brothers, okay, I love things about WWII.
Friends and Seinfeld will forever remain in my memory as the best laugh my ass off series. But for now, I'll stick to Prison Break and Nip Tuck ... oh yeah, my guilty pleasure after a long academic day is America's Next Top Model and Project Runway ... they give my brain a chance to do nothing, lol.
Angela's Ashes, A Farewell to Arms, The Sun Also Rises, The Sound and the Fury, The Great Gatsby, The Faerie Queene (what a bitch to read though), Play it as it Lays, The Awakening, poetry: Rob Carney's "The Man has a Heart Like a Kite," Frankenstein, The English Patient, Colditz Story, etc
General Patton, Ernest Hemingway, Flannery O'Connor, Kate Chopin, Jans Wager - love her book Dangerous Dames and Dames in the Driver's Seat, Anne Frank, Michael Foucault, Oprah, Batman and Rainbow Brite, hee hee.
