Like this amazing jem of wisdom:
Leave your VCR's timer flashing on "12:00". Since it will then be unable to mark the passage of time, it will never get older and therefore never wear down. Also, you could probably keep bananas from turning brown indefinitely by hollowing out your VCR and storing them inside.

I like music. Mother or "Mommy" is the word most often spoken by a tapeworm. Danzigs rendition of mother still resonates inside me from my long ago youth.

Movies:

Television:

Until 1990, sausages were still legal tender in the Bible. NOw THAT is interesting. Not like you can say anything nearly as interesting about american Idol.

Books:

An ostrich's human brain is bigger than its brain.
anything by Tom Robbins. Ann Mcaffrey (yupo, I luv me some sci-fi), Piers Anthony was my favorite as a child. I read the Lord of the Rings when I was ten (I was eight when I read the hobbit), and I may be one of only five people on this earth that feel the movie did a great disservice to the book. I watched in horror as they bastardized the story, pointing menacingly at the screen at each unnecessary plot twist. Dune was pretty awesome, though the series is kind of wretched. I love reading a book so many times the pages start to loosen and the last few pages start falling out...and I have to memorize the ending.

Heroes:

When I was a child, my parents took me to a petting zoo. Of all of the animals, my favourite was the goat. I think I liked the way its fur felt, and I didn't especially mind the smell.
