About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4I'm a typical 28 year old...I think. I went to college for a while then it hit me...I don't want a job in the field of study I have chosen. I want to own my own business. So, I set out to inform my parents and to my shock they were happy with my decision. So, now I'm about waist deep in learning all about owning a Subway(and yes I mean the place you eat at, not an underground train). I started 4 years ago with the company as an employee in my home town. Worked my way up to manager then transferred to a store on a college campus and became manager there. A year ago last July I got the chance to interview for a position at the local corporate office and was hired as a Subway Field Support Consultant. Sounds important huh? ;-) I thought so. Other than that I'm friendly and out going. Other than working I enjoy going to concerts, plays, movies, etc. I volunteer at the high school I graduated from and help with the drama department. Over all I just like to have a good time in whatever I do. I try never to take life too seriously. I will be the first one to laugh at myself.

My Interests

I love music....all music. I'm into indie films. I love poetry. I like acting along with watching performances. I like lots of things but I'm drawing a blank...the pressure of this site...LOL! As I recover I will update this. I love acting like a complete goofball...I make up silly dances just has the Walmart Dance and the Boyband Dance.

I'd like to meet:

I looked at the question for a couple of minutes....are they asking who I would like to meet like someone famous? Or the type of person I would like to meet? Well, I guess I'll answer either way...and whoever is reading this can take it for what it is......Famous people I would like to meet and why.....Sofia Coppela...she is an amazing director. She directed my favorite short film "Lick the Star" and she also directed the awesome movie "The Virgin Suicides".Kevin Smith...He is sooooo great! I was a fan of Clerks when it came out before all the hype. Anytime someone is having a bad day at work I let them borrow my copy. The movie is like every bad day ever! One night I was so tired and I was flipping through the channels, like one last run through before I call it a night and I ran acrossed a show that was a documentry following Kevin on a college tour. This is before I have my DVR, and I stayed up the entire 3 hours to watch the film. It was beyond cool.Garth Brooks...He is just too funny. He's a great singer, but most people don't realize just how funny he is. He is one of my 2 favorite host of SNL. And he would be the one famous person I would probably meet. He only lives a few miles away from here.Kurt Cobain...Which is completely impossible. But as a teenager is music meant so much to me.Ok now a guy I would like to meet.......I would like to meet a guy with all the qualities of the famous people I want to meet. I want him to be creative, funny, and into music. I want him to be stable in life with things in order, because I'm a girl with things in order. I want him kind, and happy, and ready to have fun!

Music:

As I said before I love all music.My favorite song is Unchained Melody by The Righteous Brothers.My favorite band is The Cure.My favorite album is Nirvana's Nevermind.Favorite Pink Floyd Song Comftably Numb.Favorite dance song Basement Jaxx Where's Your Head At?Favorite rock concert I have attended Tool (in OKC and Tulsa)/Deftones (Tulsa).Favorite chill out music Enya.Favorite classical song Pacabell's Cannon in D.Favorite country song Elvira by Alabama.Last CD I bought Carrie Underwood (I gotta represent for Ok!).

Movies:

I don't go to movies as often as a used to do to Hollywood doesn't put out as high quality films as it used to. I do however like movies.My favorite films are: Ferris Bueller, Clerks, The Virgin Suicides, Dazed and Confused, any Harry Potter, and Robinhood Men in Tightes. Adams Family values.I'm not really into action films like Triple X I think they are completely stupid. The stories are all the same. 2 guys that hate each other and they are fighting over a girl as well, there is a physical fight, a car chase, a gun shoot out and the movie could end at anytime.

Television:

Shows I love: ER, CSI, Law and Order, Grey's Anatomy, Carnivale, American Idol, Survivor, and Iron Cheif.Guilty Pleasure shows: Celebrity Fit Club, Dancing with the Stars, The Real World, and True Hollywood Stories. And sometimes Life Time movies.

Books:

This one is hard to answer. I once loved to read...then I went to college and majored in literature......now I'm not real excited about reading. I'm not kidding I took way too many classes where I had to read WAY too much. I'm trying to renew my love for reading. I went to the book store just this last week. I book a cook book....but it is a really great cook book.

Heroes:

My dad. He has always been the calming force in my chaoctic exsistance. I often wonder if it even knows.
