I am originally from a small town in Illinois, called Mackinaw, where everyone knows everyone. :) After high school I moved to Champaign and got my bachelors degree from the University of Illinois and I am now in my second year of veterinary medical school. For the summer, I live in Naperville, IL with my boyfriend of 3 years. We lived close to downtown Chicago and I loved visiting my friends and spending weekends in the city. Although vet school is tough, I try to balance my studies with my social life and go out as much as possible. My family is great and very supportive. I am very close with both of my parents and I miss them a lot with my hectic schedule and little time for visits home.
