2DKid started as a bit of fun between front man Andy and lead guitar Lewis about 3 years ago. Mike then joined playing bass and many drummers came and went. As a result of this the band never really got off the ground.Mike, Andy and Lewis went their separate ways and lost contact.Time had passed when one very drunken night at Lennons Mike and Lewis crossed paths. "Oh how they talked! . . of the good old daysand what could have been, dreaming that oneday the band could have been amazing....BUT WAIT! . . time it seemed , was on there sides (as they are bums and do nothing with their lifes) and so it was said , "2D-Kid would be REBORN!" a week or so passed and the drunken Mike had forgotten all about that talk with Lew when his phone rang." Hello?" he said, a voice that he had not spoken to in a long time(apart from the Saturday nioght before at Lennons ,that is!) said " Alright mate?", it was Andy. soon as was sorted, they were to have a jam! but wait, I here you say.... what about a drummer? Well Mikes good friend and house mate Henry was learning the drums but did not want to play in the band.....unless HE could play bass! All were SHOCKED as such a plan had never been thought up before. Mike stepped down and tried his luck on the drums. Then one immortal day "2D-Kid" were born at 17:06 8/1/06 in Mikes bedroom weighing in at 6ibs and 4 ozs. By the end of the jam 3 songs had been made!
