On April 8th of 1982 in a refuge camp in Indonesia, a loving mother and strongminded father gave birth to a healthy baby that would grow up to bring joy into their lives and to others with a unique talent of music and poetry which was blessed by God.
Twisted Optiks, an emcee who describes M.C. as "Messenger of Christ" brings a feel of underground, lyrical, emotional and spiritual sense into hip hop. Various artists and genres of music brings influence to this conscious emcee.
It didn't start with God when he entered the hip hop scene. He started the hip hop movement as a battle emcee. Wanting to rhyme ill, he went with what the hype of the time was. But later he realized that his heart was not with the subject matter. He later discovered other artists that didn't compromise their values and morals when it came to making music. Twisted Optiks has always been his emcee alias, but he also goes by LF8N (elevating). LF8N was an alias he would use but now acknowledges the name as his producing name as he, not only, rock mics but produces beats as well. He made a transition from just hip hop and rapping, to rhymes that reflect his personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
He feels that his God-given talent should not be put to waste and wants all to discover music that does not necessarily reflect what a "glamourized" rapper represents but true values and love with the Lord, his family, his loved ones, and those that are in need of the Lord Jesus Christ. We all are in need of the Lord's Love.
