The Robin Hood of the Art Game

Please visit www.myspace.com/diophotoGoodmorning. Goodday. Afternoon. Good evening. I am a recent Master's level graduate of Tennessee State University. I am living the pursuit of happiness. I give praise to God, two loving parents, a supportive family and great friends who watch me grow and achieve my goals to become a therapist helping families come together, and owning/ operating my own creative imaging & consulting studio named dio-photo.Besides that, I am a product of the world. I was raised in Germany and have traveled throughout Western Europe, and the Eastern Caribbean (Shouts to St. Thomas & Jos van Dyke full moon). I do snow board occasionally, but I prefer my Ed Economy Surf Rider. I'm also a student of martial arts. Hmmm.....Oh yeah, I started photography professionally about four years ago. I have two inspirations for this craft. The first being my mother who has this old black and white photo of her with a huge Afro a black leather coat, and she’s standing with her fists clenched over a NY brownie, who's holing his face, and my uncle who's holding his eye but still managing to look in awe. The other inspiration was just being surrounded by beauty in the magnificent Virgin Islands. I used my mother's old Nikon to capture the moments. Carlton Wilkinson took me in and gave me a start as an assistant. I eventually got some pieces up in the gallery, and then on the International Black Fine Arts Festival.
