I break a lot of dishes, and I'm starting not to care anymore. I used to get really upset, like every time a dish broke, it was as if everything I'd ever broken was breaking at the same time, like I was breaking my life, and I'm paraphrasing myself here, "like...sweeping up shards of me, toenails, snips and balls of hair, peels of skin, broken pieces of me turned to glass..." But like I said, I'm getting past it. I broke three glasses the other day and didn't even bat an eyelash.
