Guttural a brutal death-grind band was formed in 2002 after the split-up of
Celestial Darkness with Gregory on guitars en Chris'n on drums. When
Guttural was formed Chris'n changed to Vocals and Youri was asked to play
drums. As both Gregory and Youri are brothers it was no problem to find a
new drummer... cus Youri also plays drums in Leptotrichia.
Although the three of them are familly it could not stop the fact that there
were lots of discussion. So after some internal problems and due to lack of
time Guttural was put on ice for a while. Youri, in the meanwhile was very
busy with Leptotrichia and another melodic deathmetal band called Apocryph.
Gregory kept writting material while Chris'n was busy with other interests.
After a period of two years both brothers reincarnated Guttural. And again
Chris'n was the man on vocals. They are now in the process of writting new
material. Everything is going very well and there is a good vibe in the
band. Plans for the recording of their first demo-cd are being made!
