About Me

99% of my movie collection consists of war movies. Unusual for a girl I'm sure.
I drink entirely too many energy drinks.
I don't care what kind of car you drive, in fact, some of the coolest people I know drive the lamest cars.
I have the attention span of a four year old and probably the patience of one. I'd much rather be rude than patient (something I desperately need to work on).
I have a really bad habit of making myself part of any and every conversation.
I have a pet rabbit named Stewart. Stew's pretty much the coolest bunny ever.
I'm abnormally proud of my heritage.
I love sushi, going to any kind of sporting event, and would be completely content hanging out at DIA for the day.
I collect Curious George stuff, but my best friend never let me display any of it in our apartment.
I'm a Daddy's girl and I talk to my Mama on the phone every day. I genuinely adore both of my parents.
I'm loud, I can't help it, I lack the essential ability to differentiate between an "indoor" and "outdoor" voice.
I'm a history geek and fancy myself an amateur photographer.
I have a fear of jean jackets...not really a fear, more of a general loathing. I dunno, they just really creep me out.
I talk too much, even on these things. So, if you need to know any more useless facts, just ask.

My Interests

Art, Art History, Books, Cooking, Golf, History, Photography, Politics, Movies, Music, Softball, Tattoos, Theology...

I'd like to meet:

Someone who isn't crazy? That'd be super!

Grace Slick, Eyvind Earle and Edward Gorey...to name a few.

Music:

Anything really, I have an odd affinity for early/mid 90's industrial.

Movies:

I ♥ War Movies! Thin Red Line, Blackhawk Down, Saving Private Ryan, Tears of the Sun, Lord of War, Hart's War, Spartan, We Were Soliders, Band of Brother's, Flags of Our Fathers, etc. etc. etc.

Television:

Anything with Julian McMahon, i.e. Nip/Tuck, Profiler, Charmed. Dirt, The Riches, Rescue Me. Pretty much anything on FX.

Books:

Harry Potter series, anything by Paolo Coehlo, C.S. Lewis (not just the Narnia Series). I'm also addicted to John Grisham. I know it's kind of lame, but for fluff reading purposes the guy is well known for a reason...

Heroes:

Aside from the men and women who live and die for this country (military, police, etc) and my family, just about anyone who can make me smile. Yes, you too can be my hero.
