About Me

i'm a simple man, i like people, i like watching people do stupid people things. i like working with my hands, i can learn to do just about anything that doesn't require extensive reading..i'll just get bored with it. i believe that people should crap or get of the pot, fish or cut bait, shut up and listen. i store useless information like the postman on cheers. most people that like me don't really know me... if they did they'd either hate me or love me...the ones that hate me probably know me. i like small cars that come from germany. i like small groups of people at a time..it makes for better conversations. dark beer and red wine (not at the same time). i used to be a drug addict and alcoholic, anything that would kill me faster. the longest i've ever had a friend (14 years)he's the damn coolist sheit i've ever known...he be scoot, DTA's been around for almost as long (he came back)i love him too. i truly love working with young people, i hope they can learn something from what i've learned. i don't know much and what i do know i don't fully understand. tools don't make the man, men make tools...i've fixed cars with things i've found on the side of the road, remember everything you'll ever need in life is always a few feet from you. Jesus is the one person i can always count on, he's there even when i'm hiding. i hope i don't have to die, i sure would like to see everything play out. i love my wife, i adore my kids. family is sharing a home. i've learned to enjoy people while they're here and forget 'em when they're gone, when they come around, i'll just pick it up where we left off.

Music:

music is like art, some artists roll in paint then seizure across a canvas, some have talent others have heart some just suck...without both, you just suck, the same goes for music, just because someone can carry a tune doesn't mean you can slap a casio-2000 loop behind them and make a good album, "pop" simply means most people are stupid

Television:

rots your freaking mind (unless it's educational, educational television is about as close to reading as i get). i get pbs on my rabbit ears, i won't pay for cable

Books:

i don't really read, i've tried but i haven't found anything other than the Bible that can capture my attention for more than five minutes. i like volkswagen magazines, i look at the pictures and shop for parts. i'll read a manual or directions only after repeated failed attempts at doing something the way i think it should be done.

Heroes:

there is no such thing as a dead hero, they're dead. i suppose the question is who do i look up to? better yet, who's advise do i trust? Jesus, my pop, my honey, scoot, scoey, grog, any professional who has proven themselves on said topic related to their profession.the DTA, he's got tenasity, and chicks dig'm.
