....My name is Connie, and I am a songwriter/artist; mostly songwriter. I love music, I like to write something really heartfelt; something that makes people stop and think, and something with a good moral to it. I write gospel music, country music, bluegrass music, and just because I write alot of deep songs, don't let it make you think I can't write light fun ones too. I just like to write songs PERIOD!I am exactly who I am, and I make no excuses for that. I am not afraid to stand for my beliefs, and because of that, I have been described at times in my life as a "rebel." As I said before, I make no excuses, I am exactly who I am.Some say at times I am too bold with my songwriting. I write from deep within, and if it comes out bold, it musta been a deep subject. I make no apologies...I am a hay farmers wife from down in Arkansas! My husband's name is Graham Cracker! I have one son, Matthew who currently returned from a tour of hell in Iraq for YOUR country! So don't take our soldiers jobs lightly. Think of them and pray often. If you have done nothing lately for your country, please send a letter of appreciation to someone serving in your place.I have had the honor of co-writing lately with some of my favorite songwriters including Larry Cordle, Larry Shell, Jerry Salley, Rhonda Vincent, and Ronnie Bowman, and Buddy Cannon.My greatest accomplishments in life have absolutely nothing to do with music. I feel that the best thing I have done in my life was raising my son right in church, and now he knows how to live for God if he chooses to do so. I think that one of the most necessary qualities one can achieve in this lifetime is to be able to have empathy for those less fortunate in life, and I hope I never lose that inside my soul. I love people in general.
