CONVALESCE [Tickets for THICK AS BLOOD, ENDWELL]

CONVALESCE (previously known as xA Promise Never Brokenx) was formed in February 2006 by five friends in Puerto Rico. We saw how most bands only promoted violence and hate in their lyrics, but why should we support hatred when our world is full of it? Something needed to be done, so there we commenced.

This band started off with tunes similar in sound with As I Lay Dying, It Dies Today, & Destroy The Runner, now we have evolved into a much more complex band with a personal style using a positive point of view towards life as a valuable influence in our music. Our lyrics at the beginning were about love deceptions & emotional derailments like most metalcore bands, but at times like these we’ve decided to speak about our lifestyle, encouragement, friendship, & about staying positive with our lives to overcome all obstacles.
