It's kinda difficult, when you sit down and try to articulate in a limited amount of words, who you really are. But I'll give it a shot, and try not to sound like I'm attempting to impress anybody (or myself). I'm a musician (guitar), though I'm not in a band or anything right now. Most of my creative outlet over the past few years has been through painting (oils on canvas), the subject matter of my art is usually dark and creepy. Brom is one of my biggest influences art-wise; his work was one of the main reasons I got back into painting. If I have to assign a particular title to my lifestyle, I guess I'd have to say that I'm perpetually goth/metal, because any other way of life just doesn't seem relevant to me, no matter what. I follow my heart and my instincts, and I won't compromise myself to please anyone else, especially not a society full of people who wouldn't give a shite about me either way. Oh yeah, I'm also a writer. I've now finished two novels (not published), and I'm working on a few other ones right now, usually whichever one I decide to work on for that particular night. Mostly dark fantasy or dark fiction/horror. I'd love to make a career out of it, like Gaiman, or Rice, or Kiernan, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see... Most importantly, if you get to know me, then what you see is what you get. I'm adamant about honesty, and loyalty to those who are good to me, and all others who aren't, well, may they be damned by their own hand. Balance in life is crucial, and I'm just here constructing the scales as best I can. If I think of something else a bit more interesting than all this babble that I just wasted your time having you read, then I'll add it later...
