About Me

Been living in Altoona with my 2 kids since 1998. We located here from Philadelphia, PA because of a job change for me & we looked at it as an adventure. & it has been an adventure!!! Previously married for 10 years. Recently remarried to a great guy from the Altoona area. Lots of people say I'm funny. When I first meet people, I may be quiet but once I know you, I'm not quiet at all. I'm a good listener, great friend. Takes a lot to make me angry but once you hit the button, you better watch out. I'm hot & cold, what I love, I LOVE but if I don't like someone or something, it is pretty hard to change my mind.

My Interests

LOVE to go to the movies, theatre, NYC. Enjoy bowling, fishing with my husband, shopping, watching football, Altoona Curve. Would love to learn how to play golf but haven't found the time for that. During the summer, I like to be outside - if we lived closer, I would be at the beach EVERY DAY from May through September.

I'd like to meet:

How the heck are you supposed to answer this?

Music:

Partial to Alternative music but I can listen to just about anything other than RAP (which I HATE, HATE, HATE).

Movies:

LOVE the movies no matter what it is but I HATE some actors/actresses so I try not to line their pockets with my cash. Some favorite all time movies are Godfather I and II but not III, Pulp Fiction, Goodfellas,Coal Miner's Daughter (sounds weird but I can't help loving the country saga), Saturday Night Fever. Current favorties are Sex and the City, What Happens in Vegas, Baby Mama, Indiana Jones was ok . . .

Television:

Current favorites include Lost, Kathy Griffin, Top Model, Project Runway, Grey's Anatomy, Letterman/Leno (depending who the guest is) but I prefer Letterman. Still love to watch reruns of Friends and Sex in the City.

Books:

I LOVE to read autobiographies. I used to read everything by Stephen King, Patricia Cornwell and the guy who wrote Pelican Brief but I can't remember his name right now. I haven't been reading for a long time because I don't have the time but I am starting again. Recommend something good. . .

Heroes:

My son, Kevin Guyer is definitely my hero forever. Love ya munchkin!!! Love my daughter Heather too!
