..My name is Dawn. I live in Hobart,IN near Chicago. I have a pretty busy hectic life but as long as I keep striving towards my goal it will all be worth it. My goal is to be the best wife, mom and human being that I can. Family and God comes first, but I have a huge passion to help people in need. So however long it takes, I will be a nurse so I can help others. Once I graduate I plan to help out at free clinics at least once a week and spending a few weeks (or more) a year in Africa or Central/South America helping those who have no hope!!
Earl is my hubby for 13 years now. He's such a great guy! I love my life with him in it!!! He is such a goof ball! At first when we started "dating" I didn't know how to take his off the wall goofiness. It didn't take long for me to start loosening up and enjoying it though. He's a great guy and I am lucky to have him in my life!! He loves me and the kids to no end and works his butt off for us!!
I have three kids. Two step and one natural. My oldest step daughter (may as well be my own) is one of my best friends! Britt is awesome. She keeps me young especially when I would otherwise be a stressed out mess. We really have so much fun together, whether we go shopping, tanning, work out at the Y, or just stay home doing couch arobics (lol). As long as she's around, life is never boring :) My step son lives with his mom about three or four hours south of us. I miss him a lot. Earl works a lot of weekends and Zack is a teenager with a life, so needless to say we don't get to see much of him. Zack is in a lot of advanced classes and I couldn't be more proud of him! I am looking forward to the summer so we can spend time at the races with him. My natural son is now in second grade. Hunter (Haby) is my sunshine. He is such a good kid! He is in sports year round and I think he's finally getting the hang of it all. He thinks he's hillarious, so if anyone knows any knock-knock jokes, please send them to me, he always loves new material!
I started school this year to be a nurse. It is going to take me a while because I work a full time managerial job in Chicago, but I am making it happen.
Early and I have been going to Vegas the past few years and we love it out there. We plan on moving out there as soon as the kids are raised, but will wait until a few years after Hunter goes off to college. First I am going to become a traveling nurse and bring the Old Man with me :) He get's to live the all american dream and become a housewife - sorry Early, a househusband :) for a few years while we get to see the USA!
But most importantly, I am a Christian and I love God. He is really the only way to survive in this world!!! I hope everyone in life get's to experience His love!! There is nothing comparable to it!! I would be so lost without his guidence!!
My passion in life is to help others in need. There are so many out there less fortunate than us. I have learned you don't need money to help others out but giving your time and love are the best gifts you can offer anyone. The world would be so much better off if each person would just spread a little LOVE!
