I'm Michelle. I'm originally from Ossining, NY, but now I spend most of my time in Boston where I go to school. I was at Berklee College of Music, but I can't actually see myself as a performer, so now I'm an English major at Northeastern. I want to write and illustrate children's books, and I also wouldn't mind being an editor.
Transferring and switching my major put me behind in school though, so now I'm going to school continuously just to get it over with, and to make up for lost time. If all goes well, I'll finish only two semesters later than I originally would have (I'll be done end of December 2008).
Another reason for finishing school as quickly as possible is the fact that I can get married when I'm done! I'm a hopeless romantic and I have found my soulmate. Dan and I have been together since May 2004 ♥ and we are excited about spending the rest of our lives together. We plan to get married in May 2009, and then move back to NY after Dan is done with school.
I have a lot of hobbies that I try to do whenever I have some free time. Mostly relaxing activities like reading, writing, and anything artistic and creative. I love doing crafts, and have recently started selling my handmade jewelry (I take custom orders as well - and not just jewelry). Please check out my website www.madebymichelle.net ! I cannot have a real job while I go to school, so this is a great, stress-free way to make money that I can put toward my wedding.

it depends on my mood. i listen to almost everything except rap and some country.

i like: rock, pop, jazz, classical, show tunes (i LOVE disney music!), some indie stuff, etc.

i really like most music, and i'm always open to suggestions; i like being exposed to new things.

Movies:



animated disney, robin hood and the little mermaid (my two favorites), the princess bride, the many adventures of winnie the pooh, fantasia, shrek and shrek 2, titanic, charlotte's web, dodgeball, meet the fockers, zoolander, a little princess, secret garden, ever after, a midsummer night's dream, a walk to remember, pirates of the caribbean, monty python: life of brian, miracle on 34th street (the original), it's a wonderful life, edward scissorhands.

Television:

house, monk, psych, law and order (SVU is the best), nip/tuck, the closer, scrubs, friends, wedding shows, mysteries

Books:

harry potter!!!! children's books, fairytales, catcher in the rye, to kill a mockingbird, the unicorn chronicles (by bruce coville), agatha christie, shakespeare, poe, and more.
