I'm a Grateful Dead addict and into talking politics (my favorite subject being bashing Bush), shooting pool, video games, football, and my lovely wife.It sure is funny to try to say "the beer is good" in Hungarian and instead tell your newfound friends in Budapest that "I love my big gay beer!" I guess that's what the 1981 Hungarian phrase book is good for-big gay beer.I'VE GOT AN IDEA. HOW ABOUT EVERYONE VOTE THE FEAR SPREADING, WAR MONGERING REPUBLICANS OUT OF OFFICE. IT'S A GOOD IDEA REALLY. MAYBE WE'LL THEN HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO CONTINUE OVERSUBSIDIZING THE MULTINATIONAL CORPORATIONS FOR HIRING SLAVE LABOR IN POOR 3RD WORLD COUNTRIES. OR MAYBE WE COULD JUST NOT KILL PEOPLE AND PERHAPS USE THE MONEY TO HELP PEOPLE HERE PAY FOR FOOD AND MEDICINE. BUT WHO NEEDS THAT STUFF ANYWAY? I KNOW IT'S A NOVEL IDEA AND ALL...........+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++N ICE JOB PEOPLE THAT VOTED!! For those of you who don't care-I'll take the upcoming reduced interest rates on student loans, and you can continue paying more. I'll also utilize cheaper or free (hopefully in the next 5 years) health care while you pay a buttload more. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Okay so the Republicans have stonewalled and fillibustered just about everything the Dems have tried to accomplish, but at least we got some good energy legislation passed...energy efficient light bulbs and higher vehicle fuel economy is better than nothing, although I'm not sure why we have to continue subsidizing oil companies that make ungodly sums of profits...anyway I should probably start one of those blog things if I want to keep venting..............
