Generally, I don't have one specific music genre preference because there's so many talented artists out there in every genre that it would be ignorant of me to just assimilate myself with one genre. Currently in my car are A7X, Damien Rice, Jack Johnson, All That Remains, Deftones, Mnemic, Metallica, Heaven Shall Burn and some other stuff. Jeez... I didn't realize how many cd's I have in my car...I should take some out later. I'll update later when I actually have time to write and think all of this stuff down.
Watch Paul Mooney's Analyzing White America...that's some real stuff. Open Season... not bad kids movie. Joe's apartment, Idioacracy.... watch this and you'll understand how VJO got that way.
Oblongs, Miami Ink, Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy (Hey, I'm a kid at heart and height), Courage the Cowarly Dog, anything UFC related, anything on Discovery, anything on health and weird science medical mysteries; God, the Devil and Bob; and other things.
Currently I'm reading Fast Food Nation by Eric Schlosser and it's amazing to actually read not only about the fast food industry but to see it's effects on it's customers. Lastly, anything that's prescribed by the almighty professors. Have to love all those books to do good on the tests.
Although she is gone in body, she'll never be away in spirit. I honor and admire Estelita R. Carroz who sadly passed away Dec. 5, 2005. My beloved grandmother possessed qualities of a personal hero. She was a dedicated wife and devoted mother of 9 children. My Mala spent her years spending time raising her children in a third world country and spent years raising me and my cousins. I will always admire her for her courage, dignity, kindness and devotion to her religion and family.
