About Me

I am 25 years old and have been married to my wonderful husband for almost 6 years. We have two of the most adorable kids that the world has ever know and we are striving for normalcy :)
I recently graduated college with my Associates degree, it took me 6 years :) and I am now attending University of West Florida to get my bachelor's in Psychology. Yes, I want to be a head shrinker!!! I feel like God has called me to speak to women, but other than that I don't know what direction he wants me to go in.
My husband was my high school sweetheart and continues to challenge me and refresh me. Right now he delivers pizza for Hungry Howie's. BUT....after the new year he is going to be opening his own business doing carpet/floor cleaning. We are excited and a little bit scared because this is unchartered territory for us!! Bit it'll be neat adding this to all our other "adventures!"
We have our share of "issues" but we have been and continue to be blissfully happy!

I LOVE to learn!!

I love my family, and although we weren't really close when I was a kid I enjoy seeing them ALL THE TIME!!

I LOVE my church and I am so happy to be EXACTLY where God wants me to be.

I like the rain, and snuggling on the couch with my honey watching t.v. I love spending time with my kids, even though sometimes I wonder "Whose idea was this?" They are amazing, they continue to challenge me to be the person that I am called to be.

I like meeting new people, as well as "head-shrinking" everyone that I meet.

I would love to have close girlfriends..I currently have a few, but they live far away :)

I am thankful each day for the conviction that God lays on my heart about my life. It lets me know that he still holds me in His hand, and gives me a greater desire to serve him.

I'd like to meet:

Jesus....He's cool! There are a few people that I have met that hove gone on that I'd really like back. Does that count?

I mostly like Christian....Contemporary and Rock! Casting Crowns, Goo Goo Dolls, Third Day, Jennifer Knapp, Sonic Flood, Building 429, Jars of Clay, Plumb, Barlow Girl, Mercy Me, Big Daddy Weave, Mark Schultz

Movies:

The Prestige, The Guardian, The Notebook, Never Been Kissed, American Dreamz, Josie and the Pussycats, anything with Sandra Bullock, and pretty much anything that is cheesy and makes you cry!!! I also like scary movies...the Saw series...and M. Night. Shamalan's stuff.

Television:

7th Heaven, Justice, House, Lost!!!, Ugly Betty, Six Degrees, 1 vs. 100, The 4400, The Dead Zone, Law and Order (SVU and Criminal Intent)and I love wedding stuff on the Style network!! I'm such a dork!! :)

Books:

The Bible, anything by Beth Moore and Max Lucado, things that challenge me spiritually, and Yeah....I'm still like 13 and I LOVE Harry Potter....

Heroes:

My family....each one of them has and is still overcoming things that seem impossible....But fighting is in our genes. We just don't back down or give up!!
