the dailey bros started out as younger people.....siblings more precisely....they remain this way today, only older....mike(the older fat one) started his musical journey first by taking his sam kinnison comedy tape and looping all the swears on it into a dizzying pattern, chuckling all the while the way a 13 year old kid does when he knows he's up to no good....then he got some drums and did that for awhile, then he learned the geetar and did that for awhile, but really to be fair he started with accordian lessons in the 1st grade...moved on to clarinet in the 4th....snare drum in the fifth....then all the stuff previously mentioned occured, so thats cool. okay....so also mike did some other tape loop experiments (using a semi circle of 15 radios) with his drumset in the middle, he told me he hadnt even heard of the similar flaming lips "boom box" experiments, and i believe him cuz he's a good guy...that was in like 99 or so......to this day mike dailey(hes the older fat one) still plays drums, guitar, tape loops, delay pedals, turntables, piano, and really whatever the hell else he damn feels like so back the fuck off!!! he just does it with his brother, shawn dailey (the younger skinny one) who started his musical journey in the in the early 90's when mike gave him a sweet guitar and tried to show him some chords and then took the guitar back cuz he sold his other guitars for drugs (probably) (he doesnt remember) well the point is he's an asshole and fat and older...shawn then took up the drums sometime after that, and then shawn took up guitar, and piano (sounds like someone i know) and generally buys alot of gear including a sweet mac laptop that they use to put alot of stuff together...shawn and mike have similar senses of humor and it is reflected in their playful yet malicious sound manipulation they display currently.....seriously this shit is fucked......ok then.....thats enough
