George Cintron is a guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter whom
is a founding member of the group "Cintron"- a band that
dominated the 1980's tri-state club circuit.
As one of the top live acts, "Cintron" played over 1200 shows,
including appearances with: Joe Perry of Aerosmith,
Edgar & Johnny Winter, Mountain, Twisted Sister,
Zebra, and Rat Race Choir. George Cintron was also an early
proponent of the D.I.Y. ethic, self financing their own
recordings resulting in the 1983 EP "Cintron."
Current credits plus timeline of projects:
- Guitarist for "The Music of Led Zeppelin" Symphony shows in North
America.
- Guitarist for Maniac- a long running, high energy Long Island band
that's been rocking audiences for 8 years.
- Four Corners- George Cintron on lead guitar / lead vocals,
Rob DeMartino on bass / vocals, Tom Anderson on drums / vocals.
- Performs solo acoustic shows encompassing covers & originals
that appeal to diverse audiences.
* 2005: Las Vegas Production of Queen's Musical "We Will Rock You."
* 2000-present: Writing & recording various original projects.
* 2000: West Coast American Tour with the Trans Siberian Orchestra.
* 1997-2000: Guitar & Vocals for Enrique Iglesias. Over the course of 3 world tours, played over 150 concerts in venues such as Madison Square Garden, The Forum, and The Meadowlands. Television appearances
include The Tonight Show, Dick Clark's New Year's Eve Special, and The American Music Awards.
* 1995-present: Founding member of Pyramid; along with Danny Miranda (Queen + Paul Rodgers & Blue Oyster Cult) and Bobby Rondonelli (Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult)
* 1989-1997: Studio work including sessions with: Blue Oyster Cult, Leslie West, Danger Danger, and The Good Rats.
* 1976-1981: Early bands include Teaser, Tattoo, and Mammoth.
