Compound Productions is a local live music promoter focusing on smaller national touring acts that most of you have probably never heard of. We pride ourselves on bringing fresh original music to this corner of Montana. It isn't always easy to get a crowd out but we assure you all the bands that come through here are talented, new, different, and worthy of seeing live as opposed to the commerciality of larger promoters such as Vootie and others. We try to focus on a wide variety of sounds from the psychobilly of The Legendary Shack Shakers to the awe inspiring epic sounds of Hopewell to the classics of such bands as The Samples and the Jazz Mandolin Project to the avante garde of bands such as The Master Musicians of Bukkake to great solo songwriters such as Johana Kunin, Charlie Parr, Scott H. Biram to the bluegrass of Trampled by Turtles to the country southern rock of I Can Lick Any Sonofabitch In The House to indie rock such as The Standard, The Heavenly States, Band of Horses, State Radio, Love as Laughter, The Moaners to folk rock like Norfolk and Western to the great country rock of Drag the River and Richmond Fontaine to even the Hip Hop sounds of Heiruspecs, Life Rexall, Existereo, and 2Mex.
