my favorite gift ever is an antique soap box just like the ones suffragists use to stand on--given to me because my family figured if I was going to be that vocal about issues I cared about I should actually have the soap box to get on.
Spring of 04 I thought--hey I don't like to run but I should run a marathon to raise money for the AIDS foundation of Chicago--so I trained and just finished one that fall and then a second one the next--So much fun!!!
So, I guess what I'm saying is I care deeply about many issues but am always ready to do crazy, wacked-out things that are just enough out of the ordinary to make people question my sanity
