May be a strange one but im a huge fan of dragon models, I haven't got many (yet).
Despite what the legends say not all dragons are evil, just like humans there are both good and evil dragons. Its just good dragons don't have a good public relations department.
Since I am an aerospace engineer I thaught it would be a good idea to give you all my interpretaion as to how an aircraft takes off.
Step 1. Line up onto runway.
Step 2. Go really really fast.
Step 3. Really cool magic happens.
Step 4. Fly into the distance.
Aircraft that do this really well include;
Vulcan (Soon to be flying!)
, SR-71 ( no not RS, {aviation joke})
,Concorde
,Typhoon
,B1-B Lancer
,Avro Arrow (Grandad worked on it =} )
Firefly and Serenity absolutly totally kick ass!!! and here is a fan song I found on youtube that is just so perfect ..

Lord of the Rings, very happy with Jacksons interpretation.
Serenity, pure genious and well deserving of film 2005 viewers award of the year.
Garden State, Zach Braff showing off that he can do write, direct and act brilliantly.
Pixar in general, personaly thaught Toy Story was a tad beter then Toy Story 2. Nemo was funny but not as good as Monsters Inc and The Incrediable kicked ass.
Monty Python and the Holy Grail, if anyone sais anything bad about this film then I shall sent the Knights that Formaly said nee round to teach you a gentle lesson. ( It involves shruberies).

Like most people who followed the trend I have read the Lord of the Rings trillogy finishing each book a few days before each film came out.
Possibly my favourite author is Gorden R Dickson who wrote the Childe Cycle, a collection of books which im not sure if he finished or not as he died 2001. The cycle revolves around what would happen to the human race as it reached for the stars, in my opinion the ideas he puts forward are certainly the best I have ever heard and his concept of the forces of history having an effect on the future is eleqant.
The latest addition to my collection is the Nights Dawn Trillogy by Peter F Hamilton. He is able to create a unique universe split between the Adamist's technology driven society and the Edenist bioengineered society and make them face The Void which is an interesting possibility for life after death.

What is a hero? I know people who call celebrates heros. That aint me. A hero is someone who puts themself in harms way to help another. My only hope is that if faced with such a situation, I would help without a second thaught.
