Who is the Mechanic? Who is the man behind the genious Detroit has grown to love? What inspires his musical collage of heavy electric guitar chords, twisted melodies, synthesized basslines, and neck-breaking percussion?Although his true name goes unspoken, Mechanic's reputation continues to travel through the grimy streets of his hometown. This Detroit native is becoming a force to be reckoned with on the underground Hip-Hop scene. Summer 2002, Mechanic began his career as a freelance producer. Over the past few years, he's made quite a name for himself as an artist/producer/engineer and has worked with several indie labels such as Life Sentence Entertainment, The Alan Moore Group, Fire It Up Entertainment, TNT, and Beamon Records. Today, in an industry tamed by catchy melodies and mainstream legacies, this phenom shows no effort in producing some of the hottest club bangers destined to reach radio airwaves nation-wide. Not only is he profficient in Hip-Hop, but he also produces R&B, Crunk, and Alternative music. What many don't know is that his source of inspiration does not rest on the successes of the status quo. Infact, he prides himself in developing the new, unsigned talent of Detroit. His newest musical venture is working with Maverick "Da Rock City Bandit", a young rising star whose name will soon be exchanged in conversations among the greats.
